The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is an 8-week introduction to the Christian faith that is held 2 or 3 times per year at Sherwood Presbyterian Church, 21901 SW Sherwood Blvd. At Alpha, no question is too simple or too hostile. The Alpha program began in London, England and has expanded to cities all over the world. Alpha provides a safe, non-threatening place to learn more about the Christian faith. Alpha includes a delicious dinner, a talk and then discussion groups. Here are some of the topic covered at Alpha:
• Who is Jesus?
• Why did Jesus die?
• How Can I Be Sure of My Faith?
• Why and How Should I Read the Bible?
• What About the Church?

There is no cost for Alpha, though there is a suggested $3 donation to cover the cost of dinner.
