a safe place to grow in faith
What to Expect
When you come on a Sunday morning, we'll do all we can to make sure you experience us as "a safe place to grow in faith." We're a friendly congregation of about 160 adults and children on a typical Sunday morning. We are an intergenerational church with a core of young families. The dress is informal.
When you come, you won't be singled out as a visitor but you will be greeted by warm people, and encouraged to sign your children in to the children's ministry, which they'll love. There is childcare during the whole worship service for babies and toddlers, and children through middle school are dismissed to Sunday school partway through the service. The music you'll hear is mainly contemporary with a hymn or two, led by a worship band.
There’s some singing with the song lyrics up on video screens, a short welcome and greeting, some more worship songs, a time of being led in prayer, followed by a 25-minute message that relates biblical truth to everyday life. Visitors are not expected to give to the offering - that's for the already-committed. We look forward to meeting you soon.
