Welcome to the website of Sherwood Presbyterian Church, a safe place to grow in faith. We're glad you've come to check us out and we invite you and your family to worship with us. We're a new church that started in 2004 to connect people into growing relationships with Jesus Christ and each other.

On these pages you'll find directions to our church, information about our ministries for children, youth, small groups and more. We want to make it easy to find us and to connect with us.

Summer 10AM Worship & Luncheons Beginning on Sunday, June 14, we move to our summer worship schedule with one worship service at 10am followed by a lunch. This is a great opportunity to meet people and get connected. There is a $3 suggested donation to cover the meal costs.

What to Expect When you come on a Sunday morning, we'll do all we can to make sure you experience us as "a safe place to grow in faith." We're a friendly, growing congregation of about 170 adults and children on a typical Sunday morning. We are an intergenerational church with a core of young families. The dress is informal.

When you come, you won't be singled out as a visitor but you will be greeted by warm people, and encouraged to sign your children in to the children's ministry, which they'll love. During the summers there is childcare for nursery and toddlers and the older kids stay in the worship service. (During the school year, there’s Sunday school for nursery through middle school at the 9:15am service and Sunday school for nursery through 5th grade at the 10:45am service.) The music you'll hear is mainly contemporary with a hymn or two, led by a worship team.

There will be some singing with the song lyrics up on a video screen, a short welcome and greeting, some more worship songs, a time of being led in prayer, followed by a 25-minute
message that relates biblical truth to everyday life. Visitors are not expected to give to the offering - that's for the already-committed. We look forward to meeting you soon.
